And it’s probably not what you think it is.
Sara shares her story about how she struggled for years with weight loss and her secret for finally achieving success.
Wouldn’t you know I’d get what I deserved? That’s how I saw it anyway. When I was in my teens and early 20s, I had no problems with weight. None. Zip. Zero. Zilch.
But as I moved into my mid-20s and beyond, I began to notice something. Namely that I couldn’t eat the way I used to without packing on weight. By age 28, I was 20 pounds overweight. By 29, it was 35 pounds.
Of course, I had to do something about this. Obviously, that meant dieting. I cut out carbs and restricted my calories. I was like my own drill sergeant, forbidding many foods from my plate.
And I thought I had it all figured out. I really did. I mean, I saw the weight coming off.
But there was a huge problem with my restrictive diet.
Several of them actually.
For one, I was always hungry. Even right after eating. Even after gulping down tons of water. For another, I was an unbearable grouch. That kind of goes with the whole hungry thing. I just wasn’t myself anymore.
And the worst part of all…I hit a brick wall with my weight loss. I started exercising more and being even more restrictive with what I ate. But nothing changed.
I was right back at square one, just months before turning 30. I worried that I would never lose that weight. That I would always be hungry, grumpy, lethargic, and miserable.
“What Am I Doing Wrong?”
That’s what I began to ask myself. Keto worked for many people, or so I thought. It wasn’t until I started digging around into it and other restrictive diets that I found these results are only short-term.
I needed something sustainable. Something where I didn’t feel hungry. I needed a diet that helped me specifically. And that’s when it hit me. The reason why people fail restrictive diets is because they’re not made for you.
Most diet solutions are completely ineffective for the same reason…
All of these restrictive diets are like cookie-cutters. They’re not tailored to my needs or your needs. What works for one person won’t work for another. Even if you restrict yourself as much as I did, you’re not going to see results because you’re not making it fit YOU.
Once I had this realization, I knew that the solution to my weight loss could only work if it was made for me.
But there was something else I learned…
A diet should focus on improving your overall health to help you lose weight. Otherwise, you’re letting inflammation take the lead in your life, which leads to all sorts of health problems besides weight gain.

How an anti-inflammation diet works
Sara’s story isn’t unique. Those that approach weight loss with a whole-health perspective are the most successful. They don’t experience cravings because they feel nourished and sustained.
It starts with cutting out those processed foods and sugars that cause inflammation to surge through your body. It also includes specific exercises. But instead of getting a one-size-fits-all plan, you’ll be getting one made just for you and your habits. This way, you’re sure to be a success.
By handling your nutrition rather than restricting it, you give your body and mind what it needs. That’s why Sara and thousands of other people have finally gotten their weight and their health on track with sustainable long-term results through habit and behavior change.
However, making it personal is the key, which is why you need to have an anti-inflammation diet tailored to your specific needs.
